BENGAL PRIDE Student Advisory

The mission of Bengal Pride Student Advisory is to build positive relationships among students and faculty, focus on academic achievement and provide students with an advisor to assist with the Graduation Project. 

Bengal Pride will build positive adult relationships on campus and also mentor students through upperclassmen.  An advisor will serve several purposes for students: a point of contact at school for questions about policies, procedures, clubs, athletics, dues, testing, grades, Graduation Project, etc.  At least every three weeks Advisory groups will meet to discuss student interims.  At that time, Advisors will conference with students about grades and absences, and will discuss strategies to improve grades, attendance, and school involvement. Advisors will also call home if a student is failing a course.  In addition, Advisory will promote school spirit and climate through team building and FVHS informational activities.  Each FVHS student will have a consistent group of peers and an adult to connect with throughout their high school experience.
