Color Guard

• What is Color Guard?
  Color Guard is a seasonal extra-curricular activity which rehearses and performs primarily between August and October.
• “The flags” with the Marching Band, but much more! 
  Meet fun people, make friends and work together to put together an exciting routine that includes dance, intriguing costumes and competitions.
• Previous enrollment or audition required to join.  
• Auditions are usually held in March or April.  
  
• Auditions consist of 2 or 3 rehearsals followed by a final tryout.  Members must pay their deposit, stay in good academic standing and pay their dues in a timely manner.
• Deposit of $45 required following tryouts.  
• Season dues are $450 and must be paid by September 1st.
• Dues cover Band Camp food and lodging, clinicians, costuming, travel, some equipment.  Fundraising and scholarship opportunities available through the Fuquay-Varina Band Boosters
